Integrations

Connect the platforms your money moves through, so the app reports the business you actually run.

What connecting gets you

Every platform you connect makes a part of your business visible. Every one you leave out is reported as zero — and zero never looks like a problem.

Meta turns on Meta Overview, Top Ads, Campaigns and Ad Formats, and puts Meta spend into MERMERUnlike platform numbers, this counts every sale, so ad platforms can't double-claim credit. Compare the trend against your gross margin to see if growth is affordableUnder 30% is healthy and NCPANCPACounts only buyers new to you, so it prices growth rather than sales in general. Judge it against what a customer spends over repeat orders, not their first.

Google Ads turns on the Google Ads page and adds its spend to those same two numbers.

Google Analytics turns on the whole Google Analytics section, and puts Sessions (GA4)Sessions (GA4)The visit count your conversion rate is measured against. If sales fell while this held steady, the problem is on the site, not the traffic on Summary.

Amazon Marketplace turns on Amazon Summary, SKU Performance and Amazon P&L, and brings Amazon revenue into the combined views.

Amazon Ads gives ACOSACOSabove that, those sales lose money.Under 20% is healthy and TACOSTACOSHow much of your Amazon business leans on ads, not just the ad-driven part. A climb while sales stay flat means you're paying more to stand stillUnder 8% is healthy a cost to work with.

Klaviyo turns on the Klaviyo page.

Missing ad spend is the expensive one. MER and NCPA both divide by ad cost, so a platform you skip makes your advertising look cheaper than it is — on the two numbers you check every morning.

What we can and can't do in your accounts

We read. We do not touch.

No part of ABC Store Analytics creates, edits, pauses or deletes anything in your advertising, analytics or email accounts. Not a campaign, budget, bid, audience, customer profile or template. Every call we make to a connected platform is a read.

You approve access on the platform's own sign-in screen, never inside our app. We never see or store your password for any platform.

Read the consent screen — it is the authoritative list. For Meta, Amazon Ads and Amazon Marketplace the permissions are configured on the platform's side rather than in our code, so what that screen says is what you are granting.

Where we can state the permissions exactly, we do:

  • Klaviyo — eight permissions, all of them read: accounts, campaigns, flows, segments, metrics, profiles, lists and templates.
  • Google Analytics — we require Google's read-only Analytics permission, and refuse the connection if it isn't granted.
  • Google Ads — we require Google's Ads permission. Google publishes no narrower read-only version of it, so read that screen closely.

What we store, and where your numbers come from

PlatformWhat we keepWhere the numbers come from
MetaAccess token, and each ad account's name, status, currency, country and timezoneFetched live from Meta each time you open a report
Google AdsTokens, granted permission, your account list, and the Google identity that authorisedQueried live from Google on each page load
Google AnalyticsTokens, your property list, the property you chose, and the Google account's ID and emailQueried live from GA4 for the dates you pick
Amazon MarketplaceSeller ID and tokensImported and stored, then kept current
Amazon AdsCredentials and the profiles you selectedImported and stored, then kept current
KlaviyoTokens, account ID, organisation name, timezone and currencyImported and stored, then kept current

For Meta, Google Ads and Google Analytics we store no metric data at all — every figure you see is fetched from the platform at the moment you ask for it.

Our Privacy Policy covers the rest: encryption in transit and at rest, need-to-know access controls, breach notice, and your rights under GDPR and CCPA. We never sell your personal information.

How connecting works

Five steps, the same for every platform:

  1. Open Integrations in the left navigation. Cards are grouped by Advertising, Marketplace, Email / SMS and Analytics. You can filter by category or connected status, or search by name.
  2. Click Connect on a card. Klaviyo asks you to confirm a short Beta step first.
  3. Sign in on the platform's own screen and approve the permissions it lists.
  4. The platform returns you to Integrations, and an account picker opens automatically.
  5. Choose the accounts. Nothing is read until you do.

That last step is the one people miss. A card can read as connected while nothing at all is flowing.

Connected means it's working.
Connected means we hold your credentials. If you closed the picker without choosing an account, the card shows Choose account and no data moves. From the outside it looks identical to a working connection.

Connect each platform

Meta

Connect, approve on Facebook, then tick the ad accounts we may read.

If your Facebook user can see only one ad account, it's connected for you and no picker appears.

To change which accounts we read, disconnect and connect again — Meta has no edit option.

Meta spend is shown in the ad account's own currency. It is not converted to your store currency.

Connect, approve on Google, then pick your accounts.

We show every account your Google user can reach, including those under a manager (MCC) account. Manager accounts themselves can't be picked — choose their child accounts. You can select as many as you like.

If your Google login can't reach any Google Ads account, the connection fails and nothing is saved. Sign in with one that can.

Changing the selection means disconnecting and connecting again.

Google Analytics

Connect, approve on Google, then choose exactly one GA4 property.

Only standard GA4 properties appear — roll-up and subsidiary types aren't selectable. Until you choose one, Google Analytics reports won't load.

The property list is captured when you connect and isn't refreshed afterwards. If a property you created later is missing, disconnect and connect again. That's also how you switch properties.

Amazon Marketplace

Amazon is regional, so there are three cards — NA, EU and FE. Each connects, edits and disconnects on its own. Selling in Europe and North America means connecting two.

Connect takes you to Amazon Seller Central. After you authorise, pick which marketplaces to track from a list showing each one's name, country and marketplace ID.

Once you submit that selection we schedule the first history load: daily sales and traffic, settlement reports covering payouts and fees, merchant listings, and analytics-economics data. It's paced deliberately to stay inside Amazon's rate limits, so it arrives over time rather than at once.

Amazon data lags by design. Sales and traffic are treated as final only up to two days ago, settlements up to ten. The most recent day or two will normally look incomplete.

Use Edit connection to add or remove marketplaces later without disconnecting.

Amazon Ads

Three regional cards again — NA, EU and FE — separate from your Marketplace connections.

After you approve on Amazon, switch on the advertising profiles we may read. Each is labelled with its account name, country and profile ID. Nothing is collected until you switch at least one on.

See connection details shows exactly what we hold for each profile: ID, name, country, currency and timezone.

Edit connection changes the selection later without disconnecting.

Klaviyo

Klaviyo is marked Beta, so you'll confirm a short step before anything is sent.

Connect, approve on Klaviyo, and you're done — there's no account picker. If your Klaviyo login owns more than one account, we connect the first one Klaviyo returns; to use a different one, disconnect and reconnect with the right login.

Connecting queues up to 12 months of history where Klaviyo has it. It fills in progressively over the following hours, newest first, and progress is shown on the Klaviyo page.

Finish the Klaviyo connection in the same browser within 10 minutes, with third-party cookies allowed, or it will need retrying.

Disconnecting, and how to be certain

Click Disconnect on any card. That always removes the stored credentials from our database, so we can no longer call the platform for you.

What happens to data already collected depends on the platform:

  • Klaviyo — all stored Klaviyo reporting data for your store is deleted before the credentials are removed.
  • Amazon (either type) — disconnecting a region removes that region's grant and queues deletion of its data. A background process completes it shortly after, not instantly. Your other regions are untouched.
  • Meta, Google Ads, Google Analytics — there's no stored metric data to delete, because those are read live.

Disconnecting here is not the same as revoking access at the platform. We attempt a revoke where we can, but it isn't guaranteed — for Google it's deliberately skipped when the same Google account is still connected to another of your stores.

To be certain access is withdrawn, remove us at the source too:

  • Meta — Settings → Business Integrations
  • Google (Ads and Analytics) — myaccount.google.com/permissions
  • Amazon Marketplace — Seller Central → Manage Your Apps
  • Klaviyo — your Klaviyo account settings
Uninstalling the app disconnects everything.
Disconnect each card before you uninstall from Shopify. Uninstalling does not automatically disconnect Klaviyo or delete the Klaviyo data we imported.

When something looks wrong

A card says connected but no data appears. You almost certainly skipped the picker. Look for Choose account on the card.

"Google Analytics scope not granted" or the Google Ads equivalent — a permission was unticked on Google's screen. Click Connect again and leave it ticked.

"Could not connect Amazon Ads. Please try again later." — the Amazon sign-in link expires after 15 minutes. Start again from Integrations.

"No data! Kindly connect accounts at the Integrations Page" — Meta has nothing selected, or its token has stopped working. Meta tokens are not refreshed automatically, so reconnect if it expired.

Amazon reports stopped. If Amazon rejects our stored credentials the card keeps showing as connected. Disconnect that card and connect it again.

Google Analytics reports stopped. The card can also keep showing as connected after credentials expire. Disconnect and reconnect it.

Clicking Connect on a card that's already connected shows a raw error page. Go back to Integrations and disconnect first if you want to re-authorise.

The page is empty. Integrations is managed one store at a time. With an organization selected it reports Integrations Settings are not available for organizations — switch to a single store.

Do this first

Set the status filter to Not Connected and read what's left. That list is the gap between the business you run and the business the app can see.

Then go back through the connected cards and press See connection details on each. A connection with no account attached is the failure nobody notices.

See yoursEverything you have connected, and everything still missing, on one screen.
